CAL AM HOMES RESORTS SUNLIFE

I bought my park model in 2008. First we had to pay for electric of $18.65 when we where not there in the summer and had everything turned off.

Last summer we did not have to pay it for some reason. This year we have to pay for sewer and trash of $29.65 per month when we are not there. Nothing but corporate greed. Most of the snowbirds I know are on fixed incomes and cannot afford paying for services when there not living there.

Mesa City is only charging per barrel. I can barely pay the annual rent.

Cal Am has turned into a very greedy owner and it seems that they have a price for everything they can think of. There is no consideration given for the park model owners.

Each year they raise rent like mad and they charge for garbage year-round whether you are staying or not. I truly hope someone can stop their greed and that they consider their patrons.

Cal-Am Properties

Housing management defrauds the elderly of their homes by signing sales agent contracts, not showing or trying to sell their homes. That leaves owners paying the high monthly rent ($550+) for months and sometimes as long as a year before they give up and simply hand Cal-Am the keys. Cal-Am then gets the home to sell with total profit going to them. Also, Cal-Am discriminates against those with disabilities, such as but not limited to depression. They have denied lease privileges to me on the basis of my disability without regard to either the disability or the circumstances. They have also made false, i.e. perjured reports to police authorities, thus causing me humiliation and embarrassment, and falsified legal documents that led to such humiliation.

My husband and I are moving out because we have not felt safe here for a long time due to the sorry management. They say that they have to approve and do background checks on all residents before they move in.

That is a lie because the last 2 male individuals that moved into the home next door to us we're not even known to management. The current resident is a very young male.

We and several other residents have complained to "management" but were told that there was nothing they could do. That's bull!

Dear Sr. or Madam:I'm very unhappy!! because the land that I'm leasing to the Village of Tampa mobile home community have tow big trees over the house that bilong to CAL-AM PROPERTIES INC. that own the land. I'm ask'em to cut the branches that are to close to the roof of my property and my neighbor's before the bad wether strake and they don't want to do it;by givin me a bonch of scuseses that have nothing to do with it. a FACEBOOK page has been made in regards to these complaints and is maintained by fed up residents and employees by the people for the people..

Voice YOUR complaints they are welcome and people deserve to know the TRUTH.. Look up: We the people against cal-am properties and join the quest to expose these corporate bullies for who they really are.

cal-am are doing all the same things here in hidden springs c.c. in desert hot springs ca

and the residents seem happy to just go along with it so far.

we wonder how long before the full time residents start getting notices about increases to their rents etc. right now we have two classes of residents, seasonal (snow birds as cal am calls them) and full time.

the lots rents are so high we cannot sell our units. will have to give them away to get out of this corporate pig trough.

amazing, we wonder why the country is in such a mess with this greed taking over everywhere.

too bad, third world countries watch out, we are about to join you.
